Jessica Jeffery, Counselor in Florida
Hello! I am Jessica Jeffery and I love to play! Through evidenced-based play therapy, I help children heal, grow, and learn about themselves. I strive to build self-esteem in children, teens, and tweens as I equip them with mental health tools, such as distress-tolerance or emotional regulation skills. Although I have a broad knowledge base and experience counseling clients who are navigating a variety of mental health challenges, I am most passionate about supporting and encouraging children and their parents.
Regardless of their age or stage, I consider it an honor to build trust with my clients and be invited to walk with them toward healing and meaningful growth. Left untreated, or unresolved, childhood trauma can have an impact across a person's lifetime. Therefore, I am eager to help suffering adults find freedom and guide children in processing their pain so "the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed" (Hebrews 12:13).
I am delighted when I see a client begin to deepen their self-awareness and make healthy decisions independently. I look forward to meeting you and beginning a therapeutic journey together!
