Hi! I'm April Covington. I’ve climbed Hawaiian mountains with breathtaking views and yet I've never seen anything more beautiful than God’s work in someone’s story. I am passionate about helping women or men who have discovered a partner's sexual betrayal and/or porn use. Emotional wounds inflicted by the very person you've trusted with your heart cut deeply. However, I know that God can heal the innermost parts of us and our emotional scars. He can create a path toward hope, value, and purpose.
I speak of what I have seen and am honored to have witnessed healed, changed lives on a daily basis! I have worked with clients struggling with addiction, self-blame, faith, and depression. I have a variety of strategies to help these individuals, including EMDR. I've been greatly encouraged to hear the sighs of relief and see the peace clients have experienced after processing a horrific memory. Through God's grace and mercy, destructive experiences finally lose their power!
I specialize in counseling individuals facing anxiety, intimate partner betrayal trauma, and relationship issues. However, I am also equipped to help you develop skills as an individual that will increase your self-awareness and further you toward personal goals in a variety of areas.
