Manuela Djato, Intern in Florida
Hello! My name is Manuela. I am a wife and a passionate believer in the power of healing that comes through therapy and faith. Are you navigating seasons of change, relationship struggles, or family conflict? Do you long for a happier life, filled with freedom and peace? I believe that God can use professional counseling to guide you with His wisdom and love. If you have lived experience with church hurt, anxiety, depression, and self-doubt, it would be my honor to help you navigate these challenges. I draw strength from the belief expressed in Psalm 147:3 that God “heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
As a therapist, I view my role as both a guide and collaborator, walking alongside clients to help them identify their strengths, challenge negative patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals, families, or couples strengthen their most important relationships. Whether it’s supporting engaged or married couples in navigating communication breakdowns, intimacy struggles, or trust issues, I find deep fulfillment in seeing relationships move from disconnection to emotional connection. One of the most rewarding moments in my work is when couples begin communicating directly with one another, expressing emotions openly and building trust—a key step toward restoration and growth.
Having grown up in West Africa and studied in France (Je parle couramment le français.), I value connecting with individuals from various cultural backgrounds. I believe that everyone, regardless of their beliefs or past, deserves to live an unbound life of freedom (Isaiah 61:1). My diverse upbringing taught me the importance of feeling seen and welcomed when stepping into an unfamiliar space. That’s why I am committed to fostering a welcoming, relaxed, and inclusive environment where everyone feels heard, respected, and valued. When you spend time with me at Boundless Hope, you can bring your true, raw self into our sessions and be met with empathy, mercy, and compassion. I am confident that you can move from struggle to strength!
I understand that healing, whether spiritual, emotional, or psychological, can look different for everyone, and I’m here to walk alongside you in whatever way you find most meaningful. If you invite me on your journey towards transformation, healing, and restoration, I will provide you with a safe space. I am happy that you have taken this courageous step towards considering therapy and pray that you receive the care you need.
